Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question for us? Check to see if it can be answered below...
Can I pick up a cake today?
As much as we pride ourselves in saying "yes!", every order is hand crafted to our client's exact specifications. Because of this, none of our products are made in advance.
How far in advance should I order?
Some orders can take many days to execute due to drying time (for decorated sugar cookies and fondant work) and special ingredient retrieval.
We kindly request that you place your orders at least two to three weeks in advance.
Should there be an opening, we will do our best to accommodate those who have last minute orders. A rush fee may be charged.
What are your cake prices?
As each of our orders are custom made, there is no set price for our items; each is dependent on the specialized ingredients used, and the time it takes to execute.
If there is a certain budget you would like to stay within, we are happy to work with you to make that happen!
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! We know how stressful it can be to transport baked goods, so we are happy to offer delivery within the GTA and beyond. In some cases a delivery fee may be charged.
Do you offer anything that's allergy friendly?
We are happy to omit/substitute ingredients in order to make our products more allergy friendly and accommodate certain dietary needs. However, please note that our kitchen is NOT nut, dairy or gluten free.
If I want cupcakes or cookies, is there a minimum order?
Yes! As each order is made fresh, we kindly request that a minimum of 12 cupcakes or cookies be purchased.
I don't plan on eating my cake or cupcakes yet - how should I store them?
Our cakes are happiest being stored in the refrigerator, but should be taken out and left at room temperature for 2-3 hours before eating so that the buttercream has enough time to soften.
If you have leftovers, cakes and cupcakes will keep for up to five days in the fridge or three months in the freezer. Sugar cookies can last up to one month at room temperature.
I have an idea for my cake, but don't know how it should it look. Can you help?
Yes! We love collaborating with our clients and are happy to work with any idea you have - big or small.
Please email us with any pictures, themes, colours, etc., you have for inspiration and we would be glad to sketch out a draft picture of your cake, free of charge.
